The material

Built in PETG,
not brittle PLA.

Most cheap printed organisers are PLA — it cracks under tool weight and softens in a hot toolbox left in the sun. We print in PETG: tougher, more impact-resistant, and it shrugs off heat that turns PLA soft. Your dividers survive the worksite, not just the desk.

Fig. 01 — Toughness & heat, indicative. PETG holds where PLA cracks/sags.

Why we build

Aussie tradies and makers are stuck buying tool organisers that ship three weeks from overseas, cost a fortune in postage, and turn up in brittle plastic. We started Addictive3D to fix that — exact-fit, tough-as organisers, designed and printed right here, posted fast. If it doesn't fit your box, we don't sell it.

Common questions

03 / FAQ
What is Gridfinity, and why use it in a tool box?

Gridfinity is an open, modular organising standard — a baseplate of 42 mm cells that snap-in bins lock into. We print a baseplate to fit your drawer or tool box exactly, then you add bins and tool-specific holders and expand forever. Every tool gets a fixed home, and nothing rattles loose on the worksite.

Which tool boxes do you make organisers and inserts for?

Our first system is built for ToughBuilt StackTech, with Milwaukee PACKOUT and DeWalt ToughSystem next in the queue. We also make Gridfinity baseplates and inserts for plain drawers and other boxes — if you can measure it or photograph the tools, we can usually make it fit.

Can you make a custom insert for my exact tools?

Yes — that's our specialty. Lay your tools on an A4 sheet, send one photo (the paper is our scale ruler), and we design an exact-fit tray with a pocket and finger-scoop for every tool. Start a custom insert here.

How much do your tool-box organisers cost?

The full-drawer ToughBuilt Gridfinity baseplate is $69 and snap-in bins are a few dollars each. Custom trays are quoted before we print — most land between $39 and $89 depending on size and tool count. You always see the price and approve it before anything's made.

Do you ship across Australia?

Yes. Everything is made to order in Sydney and posted fast with local Australian postage — no three-week wait or $20–48 international shipping like overseas sellers. If it doesn't fit your box, we remake it free.

Why print in PETG instead of PLA?

PETG is tougher and more heat-resistant than the PLA most cheap printed organisers use. It handles tool weight, knocks, and a hot toolbox left in the sun without cracking or sagging — so your inserts survive the worksite, not just the desk.
